Eligibility Criteria for IITM Recruitment 2019
Age limit: The candidates should have maximum 35 years as on 11th February 2019. Age relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years for SC / ST category and 3 years for OBC category. Age relaxation for Physically Handicapped and Ex.serviceman are applicable as per the Central Govt. Rules and no age limit for IITM and Govt. employees.
Qualification: Master Degree in Meteorology / Atmospheric Sciences / Oceanography / Physics / Chemistry / Geophysics with Meteorology as one of the subject / Mathematics / Statistics or B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Tech.degree in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Telecommunication / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering from a recognized university. And minimum 3 years experience of research in atmospheric and / or oceanic sciences related to weather and climate.
Scale of Pay: Level 10of pay matrix as per 7th CPS plus allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees stationed at Pune.
